background color
I decided to make my background black. At first it was just because the default white background was a bit plain. Then I remember reading about how if our website backgrounds are black it would saves energy, because it requires less energy to display black on a computer monitor. While if the whole world paint their roofs white it would help end global warming, because the white color would reflect the heat off of the roofs lowering the surface temperature of the Earth. Amazing what color can do.
